Family Culture Days Series Continues on Sunday, October 9, 2011 at the Foundry Art Centre in Historic St. Charles

The Foundry Art Centre is hosting the second event in their Family Culture Days series on Sunday, October 9, 2011 from 12:00 until 4:00 pm – featuring Latino cultural displays; dance and musical performances; Hispanic artists and art activities for children; and ethnic food and refreshments.

This Family Culture Days event is FREE and open to the public – the upcoming event schedule is as follows:

· 12:00 to 4:00 pm: Enjoy Latino Culture with featured dance troupes Grupo Atlantico and Quetzal and live music provided by Son de America,
along with ethnic food from El Faro restaurant in St. Charles.

· 12:30-1:00 pm: Interact with award-winning artist Eugenia Ortiz, as she discussed her exhibition “Awakenings”.
The Family Culture Days series is underwritten by a grant from PNC Arts Alive .
