The Foundry Art Centre is hosting the second event in their Family Culture Days series on Sunday, October 9, 2011 from 12:00 until 4:00 pm – featuring Latino cultural displays; dance and musical performances; Hispanic artists and art activities for children; and ethnic food and refreshments.
This Family Culture Days event is FREE and open to the public – the upcoming event schedule is as follows:
· 12:00 to 4:00 pm: Enjoy Latino Culture with featured dance troupes Grupo Atlantico and Quetzal and live music provided by Son de America,
along with ethnic food from El Faro restaurant in St. Charles.
· 12:30-1:00 pm: Interact with award-winning artist Eugenia Ortiz, as she discussed her exhibition “Awakenings”.
