United States National Slavery Museum Files for Chapter 11

The United States National Slavery Museum led by ex-governor and former mayor L. Douglas Wilder has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection, reports the Timesdispatch.

“In documents filed Wednesday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court of the Eastern District of Virginia, the museum claimed to have more than $3 million in debts and said that after bankruptcy proceedings, no funds would be available to creditors.”
