The Potteries Museum & Art Gallery is presenting events as part of the British Ceramics Biennial 2011 on view 30 Sep 11 – 13 Nov 11.
Building on the success of 2009’s inaugural festival, the British Ceramics Biennial is back in Stoke-on-Trent. Running from 30 September to 13 November the six-week festival is the UK’s leading showcase of contemporary ceramics.

Presenting a survey of contemporary ceramics in the UK, this exhibition includes the work of 28 selected artists at the leading edge of the medium as art, craft and design, from the studio through to manufacture.

FRESH
30 September – 13 November
For 2011, Fresh will feature 40 of the most talented recent graduates from higher education in the UK, together with a spotlight on six ground breaking post-graduate research programmes. Additionally there will be an opportunity to experience Firing Up, the Crafts Council’s new national schools initiative.
