MontereyNOW: Paul Roehl
Monterey NOW is an exhibition series presenting Monterey Bay area artists who have made significant contributions to the visual arts. Santa Cruz artist Paul Roehl is a prolific painter, printmaker and longtime teacher of art. This exhibition will feature his most recent body of work in which he explores the aesthetic experience through his investigations of the beauty and mystery inherent in the natural world. His works are inspired by early 20th century California landscapes paintings. The evening includes a reception with the artist.

Miniatures
This favorite annual Holiday tradition showcases a diverse collection of 300 small-scale paintings, prints, drawings, and sculptures that were created and generously donated by local artists. The exhibition will give visitors a chance to win one of these beautiful works when they purchase a $5 raffle ticket. All proceeds from this raffle benefit the Museum programs that bring a wealth of knowledge and learning to the community.
New this year, the Monterey Museum of Art is proud to announce the inaugural Kids Miniatures exhibition. As with the Miniatures exhibition, the works of these young artists ages 5 and over will also be on display as part of the fundraising raffle.
