CINCINNATI – Did you know that children learn through play? It’s true! Playing is one of the most important parts of a child’s development. Not only does it promote physical health and good social skills, it also helps their education. As the premier location in Cincinnati for learning through play, we’re hosting the fourth annual Learning Through Play Conference on Saturday, March 3. Join us to learn how you can use play to get the most from your interactions with children!

Learning Through Play is a unique, one-day event with 28 sessions to choose from including Family Interactive and Adult Only Sessions. We bring the experts to you with knowledgeable presenters including Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, Blue Manatee Children’s Bookstore, the Public Library of Cincinnati and Hamilton County, Happen, Inc., Beech Acres Parenting Center, Signing Safari and Cincinnati Museum Center.

An exciting new forum presented by Adventures Around Cincinnati called Making Memories with your Children offers great ideas for getting out of the house with your family and discovering hidden gems in the Cincinnati area. Before you go, stop by the free information fair to browse, talk and learn with local organizations devoted to educating and supporting young learners and families.

Families – Bring your little ones to the Family Interactive Sessions and learn together! Sessions include The Science of Toys, Learning Through Music, Baby Unplugged, Power of Music and Develop, Discover and Dance.

Educators – Earn professional contact hours by attending Adult Only Sessions with topics such as: Approaches to Teaching Science, Teaching Environmental Conservation and Facilitating Language and Literacy in Preschool-Aged Children. All Adult Only and Family Interactive Sessions are approved for Ohio Step Up to Quality hours and by Kentucky Cabinet for Health and Family Services.
