Louisiana Museum presents Two Days Art festival

Louisiana Museum presents Two Days Art, an art festival open on Friday 25 May 11–11pm and Saturday 26 May 11–6pm.

As a reflection of the art that has flowed into the Louisiana collection over the past three years, the museum is hosting a two-day art festival on 25 and 26 May 2012, directly following the opening of Pink Caviar. Two Days Art presents a lively mix of lectures, artist interviews, performances, music, guided tours, readings in the Sculpture Park at twilight, etc.

At the festival museum guests can meet, among others, some of the foremost representatives of photography today such as Roni Horn, Thomas Demand, Paul Graham, and Hans-Peter Feldmann (the latter in conversation with Hans Ulrich Obrist). One of America’s first-generation feminist artists, Lynn Hershman Leeson, will also be present as well as Rosy Keyser, Elliott Hundley, Gerold Miller, Daniel Richter, Dayanita Singh, and many more. Special performances by Roni Horn, Jesper Just, and Yorgos Sapountzis. And, working in the Louisiana Children’s Wing, artists Simon Evans and Tal R.

Two Days Art has been organized by curator Anders Kold.
