Wings Over the Rockies Air & Space Museum announces B-17 Fly-in at Centennial Airport

Celebrate the history of the B-17 “Flying Fortress” Aluminum Overcast when they fly into Centennial Airport on June 7 – 10.

Only 13 famous B-17 bombers can still take flight and tickets are available for a ground tour or a mission flight.

The B-17 American heavy bomber helped turn the tide of WWII, along with the pilots and crew who flew them. Their missions struck deep within enemy territory and they were capable of defending against attack, hence the nickname “Flying Fortress.”

This is the 7th annual B-17 Fly-in event from Wings Over the Rockies Air & Space Museum and Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA).

Mission Flights
Tickets are available to fly in a B-17 and experience the “Flying Fortress” first-hand on a mission flight between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. on June 7 – 10. Advance tickets are $409 for EAA members and $449 for non-members. Walk-up tickets are an additional $26.

To book a flight, call 1.800.359.6217 or visit Flights leave from the Signature Flight Support hangar at 8123 S. Interport Blvd., Englewood, CO 80112.
