Boca Raton Museum of Art Turns Into a Playable Mini Golf Course

The Boca Raton Museum of Art turns into a playable mini golf course with Big Art: Miniature Golf a unique exhibition that explores the fusion between art, design and play, on view uly 19 through October 14, 2012.

Visitors will see – and play on – a diverse selection of artist‐created miniature golf holes (clubs provided), ranging from an orbit around the Sun and into a black hole, playing inside an enormous golf hole cup, a surrealist pinball hole where other players can operate the paddles, to the world’s smallest version of the world’s largest miniature golf course.

Each hole offers a one‐of‐a‐kind experience for all visitors, be they golf lovers, art lovers, or both. Big Art: Miniature Golf promises a singular survey of some of the most whimsical and playful American artists working today.
