The Detroit Institute of Arts (DIA) has named participating communities for the next round of Inside|Out, which brings high-quality reproductions of masterpieces from the DIA’s collection to the streets and parks of metro Detroit. The reproductions for this round will be on view from July 3 to Sept. 30. The John S. and James L. Knight Foundation is sponsoring the program for 2012 and 2013.
Each community will have five to 12 reproductions clustered within walking or bike-riding distance of each other. The exact location of each work is still being determined. Once the locations are finalized, they will be featured on an interactive map on the DIA’s website, www.dia.org/insideout
