The Houston Fine Art Fair (HFAF) is returning to HoustonSeptember 14 – 16, 2012 and will be held at Reliant Center, the largest and most prestigious entertainment complex in the state of Texas.
In its inaugural year in 2011, 10,500 visitors came to HFAF and perused art from galleries representing 13 Countries and 37 cities.
For 2012, more than 80 leading galleries from across the US, Latin America, and Europe willexperience an exciting and diverse collection of art galleries and installations from around the globe. The second annual fair will continue to offer contemporary and modern masters, emerging artists and today’s art stars. Paintings, drawings, print editions, installations, sculpture, and photography will have price points that will appeal to both novice and experienced collectors. International in scope, the fair will also showcase a wonderful selection of the best in classic and contemporary Latin American art.
World-class museums and renowned art patronsin Houston, America’s third largest art market, will once again offer special access to private collections, museum tours, on-site cocktail receptions and city-wide sponsored events.The VIP gala preview will be held on Thursday, September 13,2012 and will again benefit the Museum of Fine Arts Houston’s Glassell School of Art Core Program.
