CINCINNATI- Enjoy the Arts (enjoythearts.org ) is pleased to announce its recent hire of Jenny Foster as program manager. In her role, Foster will manage strategic development and growth of the organization, oversee Enjoy the Arts community outreach efforts, curate an annual event series and forge partnerships with organizations dedicated to advancing Cincinnati as a thriving, metropolitan city.
“I was attracted by Enjoy the Arts’ mission to enrich lives by inspiring new audiences to enjoy and engage in vibrant arts, culture and entertainment,” Foster said. “Cincinnati’s phenomenal arts landscape rivals that of any world-class city, and with Enjoy the Arts, it’s accessible and affordable to young audiences. Our arts organizations are a pillar of this vibrant city and will continue to play a pivotal role in its progress and advancement.”
Foster comes to Enjoy the Arts with prior non-profit, corporate and startup experience. She previously worked at the Walt Disney Company in media relations and market research. Foster later took on a role as social marketing manager at O’Keeffe PR, where she managed digital engagement efforts for clients. Foster furthered her career at Cincinnati-based nonprofit, Bad Girl Ventures before transitioning to its cousin company, SoMoLend. As corporate marketing manager at SoMoLend, Foster ran consumer research efforts, oversaw involvement in national events, and assisted with strategic planning and fundraising. This background has helped Foster to make a smooth transition into her current position as program manager with Enjoy the Arts.
“I intend to apply my development experience and marketing skills to expand the reach of Enjoy the Arts, contribute to the advancement of our community, and ultimately cultivate life-long arts patronage in the Greater Cincinnati area,” Foster said.
Eric Avner, vice president at the US Bank Haile Foundation, has been an Enjoy the Arts board member for more than six years. “We are excited that Enjoy the Arts will benefit from Jenny’s unique combination of entrepreneurial skills and community passion. Enjoy the Arts’ future has never looked brighter” said Avner.
