Ends and Exits: Picturing Art from the Collections of LACMA and The Broad Foundation presents works from one of the most challenging periods in art history from two important Los Angeles collections. Emerging from modernism, artists in the 1980s broke with tradition to create the world anew— questioning the notion of originality and the artist’s relationship to society. This exhibition features some of the most influential artists of our time, including Robert Gober, Jenny Holzer, Sherrie Levine, and others who flourished during the period. – www.lacma.org
