On January 17 the Museum will open “Space Shuttle Enterprise: A Pioneer,” a new exhibition that explores the history of Enterprise and its critical role in the development of the space shuttle.
While Enterprise itself will not be on display, compelling artifacts of the era – such as space shuttle cockpit instruments, a flight helmet and model orbiters – as well as archival images and video clips to illustrate the history and significance of the prototype orbiter, will be included. – http://intrepidmuseum.org
