Huntsville Museum of Art presents Art in Bloom including includeding floral demonstrations, bourbon tasting party, talk by floral designer to Lady Di and Lady Gaga.
Art in Bloom will begin with a preview event on April 4 when Margot Shaw, editor of “Flower Magazine” gives a comic presentation as her alter-ego, Rose Bush. The character’s misadventures of sharing “the joy of flowers” are chronicled in the book, “Not so Prim Rose,” which Shaw will sign after her presentation.
The “Evening with Margot Shaw” will take place at the museum from 5:30 to 8 p.m. The cost is $25 for museum members and $35 for non-members.
The two-day Art in Bloom celebration is scheduled for April 18 and 19, beginning with a luncheon with event planner, florist and floral instructor John Grady Burns of Atlanta.
