The Airborne & Special Operation Museum may reopen on the four days a week it is now closed following budget cuts.
Since April 1, the museum has been closed four days a week, opening only from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and noon to 5 p.m. on Sundays.
Before hours of operation were reduced, the museum was only closed on Mondays.
More than 170,000 people a year visit the 59,000-square-foot facility at Hay Street and Bragg Boulevard, which opened in 2000 and cost $22 million in public and private money.
