Erlend Hammer and Power Ekroth curate two separate exhibitions for Momentum 7, each with their own title and selection of artists. The curators work closely with artists they invite to Momentum 7, and both are engaged with the collaboration process between artist and curator. By sharing the biennial between them, they will put their own signatures on each part of the exhibition, and to a greater extent claim individual responsibility for the end results.

28 artists are invited to Momentum 7 from Canada, Denmark, Egypt, Finland, Italy, The Netherlands, Norway, Russia, Sweden, Turkey, Germany and USA.

MOMENTUM 7 will host two press conferences at Momentum kunsthall in Moss with exhibition curators: Tuesday, June 18th at 12pm, and Saturday, June 22nd at 12pm

Momentum would also like to draw your attention to these perennials in the North of Europe coinciding with our 2013 edition: Bergen Assembly 2013 – An Initiative for Art and Research (Bergen, Norway), Göteborg International Biennial for Contemporary Art (Gothenburg, Sweden), and Lofoten International Art Festival 2013 (Lofoten, Norway).
