The Frick Collection announces Tia F. Chapman as its new Deputy Director for External Affairs. Taking up the post on July 15, 2013, Chapman will oversee the Development Department in a wide range of fundraising and outreach initiatives. Among the areas to be under her leadership are major and individual giving, annual campaigns, planned giving, foundation and government grants, corporate sponsorship, membership, special events, external affairs publications, and media relations and marketing.
Chapman comes to the Frick from The Metropolitan Opera, where she was Director of Major Gifts for nearly nine years. Previously she served as Director of Development and Director of the Women’s Committee at the Central Park Conservancy and Executive Director at Save Venice, Inc. www.frick.org
