California African American Museum presents Dale Brockman Davis, Derrick Maddox, Richard Turner Diverted Destruction 6 an exhibition on view June 29th – September 17th.
CAAM, the California African America Museum and The Loft at Liz’s co-curate this year’s Diverted Destruction 6 found object assemblage show. Diverted Destruction, now in its sixth year, presents works from cast-off objects often destined to the landfill. This show marks the first time the museum will be collaborating with a private gallery to introduce local African American artists to new audiences at new venues.
The Loft at Liz’s (located in 453 S. La Brea Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90036) will feature the work of African American artists Dale Brockman Davis, Charles Dickson, Dough Pearsall, Teresa Tolliver and Timothy Washington. Additional artists include Max Finkelstein, Matjames Metson and Dennis Blevins.
Simultaneously showing at CAAM will be the works of Dale Brockman Davis, Derrick Maddox and Richard Turner.
