Museum visitors will be immersed in the world of Grace Kelly and invited to discover the life and legacy of the Oscar-winning American actress and Princess of Monaco.

Photographs, film clips, archival documents from the Palace of Monaco, and pieces from her personal and theatrical wardrobe paint an intimate portrait of the woman behind the fairy tale.

From Philadelphia to Monaco: GRACE KELLY – Beyond the Icon will showcase costumes from Kelly’s film career including designs by renowned costume designers Edith Head and Helen Rose and worn in films including To Catch a Thief, High Society, Mogambo, and The Swan. Kelly’s celebrated 1955 Oscar dress, designed by Edith Head, will be on display.

The Michener Art Museum is proud to be the only venue in the United States for this exhibition, drawing from Grace Kelly’s personal objects housed in the archives of the Palace of Monaco and the Grimaldi Forum.
