Where can your family take a circular ride on square wheels? Only at Math Midway, a traveling exhibit from the Museum of Mathematics in New York City. This fun, interactive exhibit lands at Wings Over the Rockies Air & Space Museum on Sunday, October 13.
This 4,500-square-foot, carnival-themed exhibit adds fun and excitement to the world of math with more than 20 hands-on, math activities including:
Pedal on the Petals
Three Ring Circleous
Mathematical Monkey Mat
The Mysterious Harmonograph
A-Maze-ing Math
Math Midway is great for all ages. While young children enjoy the brightly colored and engaging activities, older children and adults come away with a newfound sense of appreciation for the creative and exciting nature of mathematics.
We will celebrate the grand opening of Math Midway on Sunday, October 13 with Math Midway at the Hangar, a carnival event with stilt walking, face painters and more family-friendly activities.
Math Midway will be part of the Wings Over the Rockies experience until Dec. 31, 2013.
All activities are included with Museum general admission, and Museum Members are free.
