Museum of Photographic Arts announces Photojournalism Photo Contest

The Museum of Photographic Arts (MOPA), one of the leading museums in the United States devoted exclusively to photography, film and video, and ViewBug, the number one online photo contest community have partnered to run a Photojournalism Photo Contest.

The photo contest is about exploring the art of photojournalism which shows us a world most people would never get to see. From war-torn countries to championship sports, these images convey some of the most inspiring moments as well as some of the most heartbreaking. The Museum of Photographic Arts, hosted the Pictures of the Year International exhibition, which celebrated the power of these images and the people who create them.

The contest offers a Grand Prize Winner and a People’s Choice Winner, each will receive an exposure bundle including a feature in the MOPA’s blog. The contest judge is Danny Cappiello, MOPA’s marketing & communications manager.
