Ted Huetter/The Museum of Flight, Seattle.On Nov. 2 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., the Museum hosts the Northwest Historical Miniatures Gaming Society for an exhibition of their fascinating hobby, which combines the challenges of fine model-making and sophisticated strategy game-playing. Many games will be demonstrated, including those featuring aerial combat, air racing, hydroplane racing and war games using miniature historical models, landscapes and figurines. Visitors are encouraged to participate. The society members will be on hand to answer questions, while hundreds of models will be on display. The event is free with admission to the Museum.
