Come to Cincinnati Museum Center for breakfast, stay for Diana, A Celebration

CINCINNATI – For years growing up mom made you breakfast in the morning. Sometimes it was bacon and eggs. Other times it was just a bowl of your favorite cereal. A few glorious mornings it was powdered donuts and chocolate milk.

Cincinnati Museum Center Mothers DayThis year, why not return the favor and let us cook for you and your mom. Cincinnati Museum Center is hosting Mother’s Day at the Museum Sunday, May 11 at 10 a.m. with breakfast for the special woman in your life.

Mother’s Day at the Museum is an opportunity for you and your mom to enjoy a delicious breakfast without the cooking that comes with it. Sample a scrumptious array of breakfast favorites like scrambled eggs, potatoes, bacon and sausage. For those with a sweet tooth, stock up on decadent continental breakfast items including house-baked pastries, croissants, scones and muffins. Add sliced fruit and berries for a fresh twist. Wash it all down with orange and cranberry juices, freshly brewed coffee and a complimentary mimosa or Bellini for Member moms.

After breakfast leave the dishes on the table (we’ll take care of those, too) and take mom to see one of the world’s most remarkable and inspiring women, Princess Diana. Relive the charm, beauty and heart of Diana as you get a glimpse at the woman behind the legend. Watch home videos of a young Diana growing up, be inspired by her humanitarian efforts and marvel at the 25 foot train on her royal wedding dress. But grab mom and get here quick because this is the final stop of the world tour for Diana, A Celebration. You won’t want to miss this incredible exhibition.

And for the mom who’s a bit of a traveler and adventurer, treat her to our newest OMNIMAX® film, Journey to the South Pacific. Experience the beauty and wildlife of the South Pacific both above and below the waves in our five-story domed theater. Enjoy breathtaking aerial shots of this island paradise and meet the interesting creatures that call it home by swimming alongside 30-foot whale sharks, 20-foot manta rays and helping young sea turtles reach the ocean. Take mom on a journey she won’t forget. Or book her ticket for the year by giving her unlimited access to OMNIMAX® films for 12 months with an OMNIMAX® Club Card.
