Philadelphia dance artists to interact with Steve Tobin’s monumental sculptures
(Doylestown, PA) The Michener Art Museum will highlight its most recent exhibition, Out of this World: Works by Steve Tobin with a performance by MM2 Modern Dance Company of Philadelphia (MM2), Dance With Sculpture on Sunday, September 21 from 3:00 – 4:30pm. Out of This World: Works by Steve Tobin is on view through October 26.
MM2, under the direction of Steven Weisz, has established itself as an incubator, providing support, space and opportunities for new emerging dance artists who wish to explore the choreographic process, and to cultivate and introduce new work to new audiences. The company is committed to creating and performing a new body of work each year, fostering Philadelphia’s growing modern and contemporary dance audience. MM2 strives to educate, advocate, support and promote artistic vitality in the region.
