International leaders in spaceflight to speak at Nov. 20-22 “Delta-v Spacefest”
SEATTLE, Nov. 8, 2014–An international roster of astronauts, leading space entrepreneurs, and designers of space-themed games will be the featured speakers at The Museum of Flight’s three-day Delta-v Spacefest symposium, Nov. 20-22, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The event will look at real spaceflight operations with the people who make them happen. Speakers include Korean astronaut Soyeon Yi, space explorer Charles Simonyi, and NASA astronauts Ed Lu, Franklin Chang-Diaz, Wendy Lawrence and Garrett Reisman. Spaceflight companies represented include Aerojet Rocketdyne, Planetary Resources, SpaceX and Boeing Commercial Space. All Spacefest programs are free with admission to the Museum.
Space-themed Games
All three days of Delta-v Spacefest we will host a hands-on lab featuring game designers showcasing space-themed games ranging from pure entertainment to in-depth simulation including Galak-Z, Deadrock Divide, Universe Sandbox 2, SpaceChem, Hard Lander, and Habitat.
