Cincinnati Museum Center and National Underground Railroad Freedom Center announce new Chief Financial Officer

Jill Berkemeier assumes top financial role Jan. 20

CINCINNATI – Cincinnati Museum Center, the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center and the Cincinnati Museums Foundation announced today the hiring of Jill Berkemeier to the position of Vice President for Finance and Administration & Chief Financial Officer. Berkemeier will begin her duties on January 20.

Berkemeier, most recently the CFO of Global Novations, LLC , directed the integration and consolidation of Global Novations into Korn/Ferry International which acquired Global Novations. In addition, she integrated the business model from a finance and accounting perspective as well as the operating business model which included compensation plans and structure, business processes and systems, legal contract management, human resources policies, payroll and benefits, technology infrastructure and systems, tax compliance and reporting, business pricing model, project management functions and day to day operations.

As Cincinnati Museum Center begins a generational fix on its home, Union Terminal, and the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center begins its tenth year in operation, Berkemeier will be the financial leader of two institutions whose economic impact will continue to benefit Hamilton County and the surrounding region.
