Museum of Flight Hosts Space Racers TV Show Launch Party for Preschoolers

SEATTLE – The Museum of Flight and Space Race, LLC are inviting Seattle families to celebrate the season two premiere of Space Racers®–an animated science series for preschoolers–on Saturday, Nov. 5 at 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. Participants will be treated to special space-themed giveaways and a private Space Racers screening, celebrating the official countdown to the series premiere blast-off on Sprout, NBCUniversal Cable Entertainment’s 24-hour preschool network. The Museum of Flight is serving as an official “Mission Support Center” along with several other space museums nationwide. The event will be held in the Museum’s Alaska Airlines Aerospace Education Center, and is part of the Museum’s three-day SpaceFest 2016 – Ladies Who Launch.

In addition to the Launch Day celebrations, Space Racers has kicked-off a nationwide contest to engage future astronauts. Parents are invited to bring their children to The Museum of Flight from now until Nov. 6 to submit a photo of their young ones in front of the official Space Racers banner in the Museum’s Aerospace Education Center. Participants will have the chance to win an all-expenses paid, grand prize trip to Space Camp® for their family or a one-year family membership to a science museum.
