Museum of Flight Screens Acclaimed New Voyager Spacecraft Film

Screening of THE FARTHEST–Voyager in Space in advance of PBS premiere

SEATTLE – This is the 40th anniversary of the launch of the twin Voyager spacecraft, humankind’s first messengers to Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and beyond our solar system. On Aug. 19 at 2 p.m. the Museum and media partner KCTS9 screen the acclaimed new documentary about this epic mission, THE FARTHEST–Voyager in Space. The film was a surprise hit at this year’s Seattle International Film Festival, and captured the Audience Award at the 2017 Dublin International Film Festival.

The documentary celebrates the magnificent Voyager probes, the men and women who built them, and the vision that propelled them farther than anyone could ever have hoped. The screening is free with admission to the Museum.
