DOYLESTOWN, PA — For the second consecutive year, the James A. Michener Art Museum has received a grant through the PNC Arts Alive initiative of the PNC Foundation to support its public programming, which is aimed at increasing community engagement and inclusiveness through shared cultural experiences. With PNC Arts Alive grant, the Michener Art Museum will present the second annual Broadway Cabaret series featuring nationally known performers. A portion of the tickets will be made available free through an online sweepstakes open to the public. The lineup for the next Broadway Cabaret series, which will take place in the spring and summer of 2018, will be announced in January.
PNC Arts Alive is a multi-year initiative of the PNC Foundation dedicated to supporting visual and performing arts groups with the goal of increasing arts access and engagement in new and innovative ways.The Michener Art Museum is one of only 20 arts organizations in the Philadelphia and southern New Jersey region selected to receive the prestigious PNC Arts Alive grant, which is awarded for “bold thinking around increasing arts access and engagement.”
