Harry Potter, Star Wars and LEGO highlight museum camps on sale now
CINCINNATI – When school is out, camps are in! Cincinnati Museum Center’s (CMC) fall and winter Museum Camps are on sale now.
As winter creeps closer and closer, kids are chomping at the bit for Thanksgiving and holiday breaks and the days off that come with them. But for you the days of winter breaks ended when you graduated from school, and your boss isn’t too keen on you playing hooky. Well, that’s where Museum Camps come in. Whether there’s a day or a week off from school, there’s a camp for that.
Kids can explore science, technology, history and the arts through activities, games and experiments that will tap into their creativity and fuel their curiosity. From muggles to Jedis, master builders to astronomers, there’s a camp for every kid. Camps are available for grades K-6 and before and after care is available.
Take part in building challenges and let your imagination run wild in LEGO: Master Builder camp. Or grab your broomstick, practice your potion skills and meet some fantastic beasts at Harry Potter camp. Perhaps you’d like to design a LEGO boat that floats or a bridge capable of withstanding an earthquake in LEGO: Boats & Bridges camp. You can even make your own lightsaber and learn how to use it in Jr. Jedi and Star Wars camps.
CMC is also hosting Museum Camps at the Cincinnati Observatory. Work alongside the Observatory’s astronomers as you look to the stars and explore our universe through the oldest public telescope in the country. Museum Camps at the Cincinnati Observatory are available December 18 – 22 for grades K-6.
Even better, do it all! Camps are available by day or by week so you can build the perfect experience for your child’s interests and schedule.
