Load gallery showcases Six N. Five’s work at Loop Lab Busan

Barcelona’s Load gallery brings its signature digital artistry to Loop Lab Busan, the inaugural Asian edition of the pioneering media art festival running from April 24–26, 2025.

Selected among seven Barcelona galleries, Load will feature the groundbreaking work of Ezequiel Pini (Six N. Five), whose 3D animations have redefined the boundaries between digital art and speculative design. Emerging from the legacy of Loop Barcelona, this new festival converges technology, sustainability, and avant-garde creativity in South Korea’s vibrant cultural spot.

At Loop Lab Busan, Load gallery will unveil Species , Pini’s two-minute video work that transports viewers into hyperrealistic, otherworldly biomes. First showcased during Load’s 2024 launch, the piece exemplifies the artist’s mastery of digital craftsmanship, blending surreal narrative with environmental fiction through flawless CGI renderings. His influential visual language has become a benchmark for contemporary 3D artists worldwide.

The festival’s innovative hotel-room exhibition format at the Grand Josun Busan will enable visceral encounters with Pini’s work, displayed alongside peers from Galeria Senda, àngels barcelona, and international exhibitors. Beyond the fair, curated talks and networking sessions will facilitate cross-cultural dialogues about digital art’s expanding role in contemporary practice.

With major institutional partners including the Busan Museum of Art, Loop Lab Busan signals Asia’s growing influence in digital art discourse. For Load, this show represents both recognition of Barcelona’s creative vanguard and an opportunity to prototype new models for experiencing digital works beyond traditional white cubes.
