Museum of Flight Announce North America’s Biggest Yuri’s Night Space Party

SEATTLE – North America’s biggest Yuri’s Night space-themed dance party is at The Museum of Flight on April 11 from 6-11p.m. The Museum’s Yuri’s Night is an annual 21+ spectacle transforming its largest gallery into an intergalactic nightclub celebrating real and imagined spaceflight with DJs driving loud EDM and silent discos, dance, cosplay, VR experiences and space-age-appropriate fun.

This year’s special guest speaker is retired four-time NASA astronaut, spacewalker and musician Steve Robinson.

An eclectic mix of food trucks and cash bars will provide sustenance to the revelers. Space-themed costumes are encouraged.

Yuri’s Night Space Lounge Conversation with Astronaut Steve Robinson
Retired four-time NASA astronaut, spacewalker and musician Steve Robinson joins the Museum’s Space Curator, Geoff Nunn, at 6 p.m. in the Yuri’s Night Space Lounge for a conversation about current and future spaceflight. An audience Q&A follows the talk.

Robinson is the Director of the UC Davis Center for Space Exploration Research. He is also an active pilot, an artist, and a multi-instrument musician. Robinson currently plays with the mostly-astronaut folk-music band Bandella, and the all-astronaut rock band Max Q.
