The program last night at the Contemporary Arts Center (CAC) saw over 150 people come together at the museum to view the documentary Handmade Nation and hear the filmmaker, Faythe Levine, discuss the handmade/maker movement with local expert, Chris Salley of Crafty Supermarket and Northside’s Fabricate.
Seating for a full house was prepared for the event, but before the film could start additional chairs had to be pulled from back rooms until the space was filled. Still not sufficient to meet demand, in the end more than a dozen people took seats on the floor as well. The event was presented in partnership with AIGA Cincinnati.
