The Museum of St Albans will present Lost Rails an Exhibition, open Friday 15th October 2010 – Spring 2011. Admission free.
Discover the story of Victorian Hertfordshire, and how the railways changed the way that people lived and worked. Find out how the invention of the car gradually led to the closure of many branch lines, and how they are now used as routes for cycling and walking, and as important habitats for wildlife.
