The Everson Museum of Art Members’ Council is pleased to announce the 25th Silver Edition Festival of Trees. The 10-day event is scheduled for December 3-12, 2010 from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. daily at the former Bon-Ton store in ShoppingTown Mall, Dewitt, N.Y.
The holiday tradition features more than 100 uniquely decorated trees, wreaths and holiday displays donated by individuals, businesses and organizations from throughout Central New York. While touring the Festival of Trees, visitors can enjoy live performances from local school and musical groups.
Every decoration and holiday item displayed is available for purchase. Admission to the Festival is $6.00 per person at the door, $5.00 per person through advanced online orders at www.everson.org. All the proceeds from the event will benefit children’s art programs and special exhibits at the Everson Museum of Art.
This special 25th Silver Edition Festival of Trees is complimented with several special events. Some traditional events include Santa’s Garage Sale, a one of kind holiday decor sale, the Silver Soiree, a lively holiday party to preview the Festival and the Teddy Bear Tea for children.
