National World War I Museum Board of Trustees Chair James Bernard, Jr. announced three new members of the Museum’s Board of Trustees at the Museum’s annual meeting.
“We are delighted to welcome these outstanding individuals to the Museum’s Board of Trustees,” says Bernard. “An important goal of the Museum is to broaden our base of support throughout the nation and these three new Board members will help tremendously in those efforts.”
The three new members of the National World War I Museum’s Board of Trustees include Maria Cooper Janis, Congressman Emanuel Cleaver and Ralph Reid. This brings the total number of members of the Board to 23.
Officers of the Board of Trustees for 2011 were also elected. James Bernard, Jr. will continue to serve as Chair, Dr. Mary Cohen as Vice-Chair, James McDuff as Treasurer and Jeannette Nichols as Secretary.

The National World War I Museum at Liberty Memorial is open Tuesday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Museum is closed Mondays, except for major holidays. The Museum is also closed Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Day. Last tickets for the Liberty Memorial Tower are sold at 4:15 p.m. Tickets can be purchased on the day of your visit.
