Biloxi Maritime and Seafood Industry Museum Upcoming Events

Feb. 21-23, 2011 21st Annual MS Coast History Week! 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the Biloxi Community Center – Admission is free!

May 28-29, 2011 Billy Creel Memorial Gulf Coast Wooden Boat Show! 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. Wooden yachts available for touring, craft booths, seafood, music, and schooner sails every hour!

September 17, 2011 $10,000 Annual Museum Drawdown! $100 a ticket admits two people – 6-10:30 p.m. at the Biloxi Yacht Club – Door prizes, Silent auction, open bard, food and music!

2011 Sea-n-Sail Adventure Camp registration begins! Ages 6-13 – Offered 7 weeks in June/July-Register online or call museum for more info!

The Maritime & Seafood Industry Museum was established in 1986 to preserve and interpret the maritime history and heritage of Biloxi and the Mississippi Gulf Coast. It accomplishes this mission through an array of exhibits on shrimping, oystering, recreational fishing, wetlands, managing marine resources, charter boats, marine blacksmithing, wooden boat building, netmaking, catboats/Biloxi skiff, shrimp peeling machine and numerous historic photographs and objects.
