The Kalamazoo Institute of Arts (KIA) will host it’s 60th Annual Art Fair on June 3-4, 2011 in Bronson Park. Open Friday, June 3, noon-7 pm – Saturday, June 4, 9 am-4 pm.
Hosted by the Kalamazoo Institute of Arts, the KIA 60th Annual Art Fair is a festive event, acclaimed for hosting high-quality juried art works by 210 artists. It offers $4,500 in prizes, spans two days that overlap with community activities, is promoted across Lower Michigan and Northern Indiana, and attracts more than 60,000 patrons.
The fair traditionally kicks off summer in Kalamazoo. And it’s a beloved community celebration that draws patrons from Kalamazoo and a surrounding region that stretches between Lake Michigan, Northern Indiana, Detroit, and Lansing.
Proceeds from the fair support free-admission programming at the Kalamazoo Institute of Arts.
