The Bolton Museum and Art Gallery presents Bolton Art and Photography showing the latest array of artistic talent from Bolton Art Circle, Bolton Camera Club and Bolton Digital Photographic Society. On view through Saturday 27 March.
During the exhibition the Bolton Camera Club will be using equipment loaned from Digital SLR magazine especially for this exhibition. A scanner for photographs, negatives and slides will allow the Club to invite people to bring their own images to the Gallery so that they may display their work in a dedicated part of the display.
In this way the exhibition will itself become more exciting to the public and also help share the pleasure of photography.
Bolton Art Circle is over 60 years old and again provides a social and friendly atmosphere where artists can support and learn from one another’s techniques. They arrange regular workshops, exhibitions, competitions, demonstrations and social events, as well as raising money for the Royal Bolton Hospital.
