Museum of Design Atlanta (MODA) Grand Opening Party

The Museum of Design Atlanta (MODA) will launch its new space on Peachtree Street with a Grand Opening Party celebrating its move to the Midtown Arts Corridor. The evening will double as a fundraiser and will offer attendees a chance to preview the inaugural exhibition, Passione Italiana: Design of the Italian Motorcycle.

The party will feature all things Italian including cocktails, hors d’oeuvres and the thrilling motorcycle exhibition. There will be photo ops galore with Italian-styled extras, a spectacular Italian theme silent auction including a private wine tasting, a ride on the racetrack at the Barber Vintage Sports Museum and an ultra-chic ladies accessories package. A not-to-be-missed soundtrack will keep the party in high gear. Vroom Vroom!

The new MODA is housed on the ground floor of a building artfully restored by Perkins+Will, one of Atlanta’s leading architectural firms. The upper floors include the Perkins+Will Architecture firm and the Peachtree Branch of the Atlanta Public Library. With the move, MODA acquires 9,000 square feet of space in a building is on track to receive LEED Platinum certification — the highest environmental rating awarded by the U.S. Green Building Council.
