For the first time in Italy, this great historical retrospective held in partnership with the Georgia O’Keeffe Museum of Santa Fe, New Mexico, explores the complex universe of this artist who changed the history of modern art through her vision of the natural and architectural forms of the world.

Her masterpieces such as “New York Street with Moon”, from the Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum in Madrid and “White calla with red background” belonging to the Georgia O’Keeffe Museum will be shown in a reconstruction of the historical and artistic context in which she worked.

A biographical section with photographs taken by Alfred Stieglitz documents the fascinating life of Georgia O’Keeffe together with her working tools and personal belongings which have been lent exclusively for the exhibition.
