The Small Works Sale has been organized to benefit artists and art patrons. There is no application fee or jury process for the sale. If the work of art fits the size and price parameters it will be allowed in the sale. The Museum hopes that the sale will give artists some extra cash and encourage patrons to buy original art at an affordable price. This is the fourth year of the Small Works sale.
The Small Works sale, open to the public, will begin with the sale and reception from 5:00 – 8:00 pm, Friday, May 18. The sale will continue Saturday, May 19 from 10:00 am – 5:00 pm, and Sunday, May 20 during the NMC BBQ from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Artists have been given the challenge to submit up to 10 pieces of art in any media with measurements no greater than 5” X 7” X 1”. Buyers will have an opportunity to purchase as many pieces as they wish on a first-come basis. All art work will be priced at $50 or less.
