Heatherwick Studio presents exhibition at the Victoria & Albert Museum

Heatherwick Studio presents an exhibition at the Victoria & Albert Museum in London, on view through 30 September 2012.

As part of a season of events celebrating British design, the Victoria & Albert Museum, London, presents the first museum exhibition of work by the Heatherwick Studio, one of the most inventive and experimental British design studios practicing today. Recent projects include the new Routemaster bus and the 2012 Olympic Cauldron.

The exhibition will show the enormous variety of projects that Heatherwick Studio have worked on over the last two decades spanning the disciplines of architecture, sculpture, engineering, furniture and product design. Bringing together prototypes, objects of inspiration, models and finished pieces, the exhibition will reveal the studio’s creative process and spirit of curiosity.

Heatherwick Studio has also been commissioned to create an installation in the Museum’s John Madejski Garden that will be on view for the duration of the exhibition.
