National Museum of American History presents film festival of Clint Eastwood movies

The second film festival in the Classic Film Series highlights the films of Clint Eastwood in the Warner Bros. Theater. The private screening of Unforgiven—celebrating its 20th anniversary—will feature brief interviews with actors Frances Fisher and Saul Rubinek. Fisher is known for her work in television, theater and film, including roles in Unforgiven (1992) and Titanic (1997). Rubinek has worked in many capacities, including as supporting actor in Unforgiven and director of Jerry and Tom (1998).

The evening of June 22 begins with a light reception with western dress encouraged. Participants can view a new display of objects related to these classic films and the history of Warner Bros. “You Must Remember This” includes costumes worn by Eastwood, Bette Davis, Jeff Daniels and Martin Sheen. The public festival schedule is available at http://americanhistory.si.edu/filmseries
