Diane Carroll Named as Crystal Bridges Media Relations Manager

Diane Carroll has been selected as the new media relations manager at Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art in Bentonville, Ark. Carroll, who resides in Fayetteville, has been in Northwest Arkansas for more than 10 years.

Carroll comes to Crystal Bridges from At Home in Arkansas, a monthly design magazine, where she served as editor in chief, overseeing all editorial aspects of the publication. Carroll previously worked as a regional editor for multiple publishing companies, researching, sourcing and writing feature articles for more than 40 publications. She also has experience managing public relations for a professional artist, and as a senior account executive for a San Francisco-based marketing communications agency. At Crystal Bridges she will be responsible for facilitating communications between the museum and various media outlets.

Crystal Bridges’ collection spans five centuries of American masterworks ranging from the Colonial era to the current day. More than 450 works are currently on display, including iconic images such as Rosie the Riveter by Norman Rockwell, Asher B. Durand’s Kindred Spirits and Maxfield Parrish’s The Lantern Bearers, each reflecting a distinct moment in American artistic evolution. The museum has hosted more than 440,000 visitors since its opening.
