The Virginia Living has won an Emmy® award for its “Protect What’s Precious” brand commercial in the category of Community/Public Service (PSA). The award was presented Saturday at the 54th Annual National Association of Television Arts & Sciences, National Capital Chesapeake Bay Chapter, in a ceremony held at the Newseum in Washington, D.C.
The 30-second brand commercial was created as a donation to the museum by the marketing team at Ferguson Enterprises, Inc., led by John Gillespie and Shawn McLaughlin. Production was by Butler Films of Annapolis, MD. Museum liaison was Judy Triska, VLM marketing manager/webmaster.
