African Culture Fest is Jan. 19, 20 and 21 at Cincinnati Museum Center
CINCINNATI – Mawuya (welcome)! Travel across the world and delight your senses Jan. 19, 20 and 21 during the 27th annual African Culture Fest at Cincinnati Museum Center. Smell, taste, hear, feel and experience the richness of African culture through a variety of family-friendly activities.
Celebrate Africa’s diversity as you sample authentic goods and food from a bustling African marketplace, listen to skilled narrators tell their tales and watch exciting performances by African drummers and dancers. Visit our African village featuring full-size huts and dig deeper into the Congo with villagers demonstrating traditional crafts and activities, songs and dance and even a fashion show! Don’t miss the free film festival in Newsreel Theater and enjoy the traditional art of Henna hand and feet painting. Plus, take your passport to the four stamping stations located around the Rotunda and surrounding areas; complete the activity and claim your stamp. Once you collect all four stamps, you’ll receive a buy-one-get-one free coupon to all three museums!

African Culture Fest is Saturday, January 19 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Sunday, January 20 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Monday, January 21 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. All Culture Fest activities in the Rotunda are free; activities throughout the museums are free for Members or included with admission. An All Museums Pass is $12.50 for adults and $8.50 for children.
