This special Neighborhood Heroes reading honors exceptional members of the Bay Area literary world. Authors include: Pulitzer Prize winner Jane Smiley (A Thousand Acres), Pushcart Prize winner Susan Steinberg (Hydroplane), former Fulbright scholar Michael David Lukas (The Oracle of Stamboul), Lambda Literary Award winner Kevin Killian (Impossible Princess), novelist Glen David Gold (Carter Beats the Devil), critically acclaimed poet Joseph Lease (Testify), poet Tom Comitta, novelist Lisa Brackman (Rock Paper Tiger) and more.
