Wild West Day at the Colorado Railroad Museum

The story of Colorado’s railroads is one of perseverance, daring and ingenuity—it is the story of settling and taming the Wild West. Steam locomotives were revolutionary machines in their time and ushered in the last dusty days of the horse and wagon.

Buffalo-Bill-Days-2010-102Our Wild West Day event provides a family-friendly opportunity to experience firsthand the Old West, complete with period re-enactors bringing the 1880s railroad experience to life.
