Under the direction of ELAC Professor Eileen Ie, students in introductory Sociology courses made video shorts specifically for ELAC’s Labor Month.
The videos are the final products of a semester-long project designed to allow students an opportunity to apply their sociological imagination. The videos are meant to inform, educate, and entertain viewers on labor topics relating to global stratification, social class in the U.S., gender, and race/ethnicity.
VPAM will be screening the videos on May 23rd 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM alongside the exhibit One Hundred Years of Labor and will host a reception for the students involved with the 2013 video project.
